Meet the Team | Brendan Copeland

Christina Mullins • August 10, 2022

Summer has almost come and gone. August has arrived, and school is back in session. By now, the busiest time of hurricane season is upon us. Our team continues to prepare themselves for anything that comes our way.

On a monthly basis, a different team member is chosen to be featured in our employee newsletter, as well as this Meet the Team article. For August, we shine the spotlight on Brendan Copeland, who is a Baton Rouge technician. Learn more about him below!

Meet the Team: Homegrown Talent

Brendan was born and raised in Baton Rouge. After high school, he began his career working for Hood Container, which is a paper mill located in St. Francisville. From there, he joined the Guarantee team in May 2021.

Whenever he is not working, he enjoys “hitting the links.” Golf is by far his favorite sport to play. Speaking of sports, he also likes watching college football. His favorite team is the LSU Tigers! Finally, he also likes working on cars.

Meet the Team: Every Day is Different

As I was writing this blog, I asked him what he likes about working for GRS. He stated, “I love the work atmosphere and enjoy how every day is something different. No project or job is the same.”

I also asked him what he learned recently to which he said, “I have learned how to lead temp crews more efficiently to make jobs run smoother.” He had to utilize this especially on a recent fire job at a local junior high school.
