Continuing to Learn for Life

Taylor Millet • August 24, 2022

Have you ever heard the saying, “you learn something new every day?” It is so true, isn’t it? Oftentimes, we do not realize we learned something new, because a lot of things seem insignificant or minute in comparison to taking a class or attending a seminar. Formal training or not, it is important to continue to learn for life.

At Guarantee Restoration Services, two of our five core values are efficiency and commitment. We pride ourselves on the training and the continuing education opportunities that we offer and provide to our team members.

Continuing education is also known as CE. By putting an emphasis on CE, our team members can keep up current IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certifications) certifications, such as WRT, FSRT, AMRT and CDS.

In addition, Guarantee Restoration Services can provide our partners with a convenient solution when it comes to renewing their licenses and certifications within different industry verticals. We are certified to teach these courses in both Louisiana and Mississippi.

Now, you may not have heard of Continuing Education before. What is it, exactly? This term denotes to any secondary programs people pursue after their formal education. These can come in many different variations, from seminars to classes, online courses, and hands-on training.

Continuing education courses can do many things for you professionally. They can increase your qualifications, help you gain confidence in your field of study, and improve discipline in your line of work. Different industries have specific CE Requirements which must be upheld on an annual or semi-annual basis in order to continue practicing in said industry. In many industries, CE is essential to your advancement track and can lead to higher paying wages and supervisory positions within your organization.

“Never become an expert that you stop gaining expertise.

View life as a continuous learning experience."  – Denis Waitley
