Responding To Hurricane Laura

Matthew Edwards • September 3, 2020

On Thursday, August 27, 2020, a catastrophic hurricane hit Lake Charles, La. and its surrounding areas. It has affected at least 15 neighboring parishes around Calcasieu. It has displaced thousands and devastated many lives. Immediately following the storm, our team mobilized and headed west to help restore lives and businesses. We continue to work hard every day and will be there for the foreseeable future.

HOW WE ARE HELPING

Not only did our team get on the ground quickly, but we also called upon many of our partners through Restoration Affiliates. From Indiana to Texas, we are grateful for those who have come to assist us restore schools, apartment complexes, assisted living facilities and other commercial properties. We understand the need for assistance is great and our determination to help is equal. Our team will continue to assess our outside resources and bring in more teams to enable us to help more families and businesses as needed.
