Meet The Team | Chris Murray
Many of our awesome team members are from areas near our offices they serve, but not all of them. GRS is proud to have several of our employees come to us from different areas of not only the country, but world. For our February “Meet the Team” article, we would like to introduce you to New Orleans Team Lead, Chris Murray!
MEET THE TEAM: BROOKLYN BORN AND RAISED
Chris grew up in Brooklyn, New York, before moving to Massapequa on Long Island. Prior to joining our team at Guarantee Restoration Services, he worked for Paul Davis Restoration for 9 years. In December 2018, he moved to St. Rose, Louisiana and began working at GRS.
MEET THE TEAM: CARS, PANDEMIC PROJECTS & MORE
When Chris is not at working, he enjoys cooking. Additionally, Chris likes to work on his cars in what he called his second home, the garage. In fact, he said that when he was growing up, he wanted to own a car dealership. His neighbor had a small dealership and would come home with a different vehicle every week. This fascinated him, since had always loved cars. In his other spare time, he enjoys doing projects around the house. He and his girlfriend, Janice like trying new restaurants in the New Orleans area, too.
Over the past year, Chris and Janice have learned how to make epoxy resin art. If you are unfamiliar, check out the Louisiana he made below. He explained that the possibilities are endless, and it is a relaxing hobby.
