Meet The Team | Andrew Douet

Christina Mullins • February 11, 2026

At Guarantee Restoration Services, our team is made up of individuals who lead with integrity, serve with purpose, and show up when it matters most. This month, we’re excited to introduce Andrew Douet, one of our dedicated Lafayette Reconstruction Project Managers, who plays a critical role in helping customers move forward after property damage.

From St. Martinville to GRS

Andrew is originally from St. Martinville, Louisiana, and attended South Louisiana Community College (SLCC), where he studied Drafting & Design. His background in construction and design laid a strong foundation for the work he does today.

Before joining GRS, Andrew worked for Bulliard Construction, gaining hands-on experience that prepared him for the fast-paced and detail-oriented world of restoration.

He joined Guarantee Restoration Services on November 8, 2021, and has now been part of the team for over four years.

His Role at GRS

As a Reconstruction Project Manager, Andrew is responsible for guiding projects from start to finish. From coordinating repairs to ensuring quality craftsmanship, his role is about more than construction—it’s about restoring confidence during stressful situations.

When asked what he loves most about working at GRS, he said: “Helping people in stressful situations.”

That mindset reflects what restoration is truly about. When a home or business is damaged, emotions run high. Having someone steady, honest, and solutions-focused makes all the difference.

Living Out Our Core Values

The GRS core value that resonates most with Andrew is Honesty

He believes you’d rather deal with the hard truth than live in uncertainty or false reassurance. In restoration, clarity matters. Honest communication cuts through confusion and sets realistic expectations—something our partners and customers deeply appreciate.

Advice for New Team Members

Andrew’s advice to anyone new at GRS is simple, but powerful:

“Ask questions first. Don’t wait until you’re stuck. Clarity upfront prevents bigger issues later.”

In a fast-moving industry like restoration, proactive communication prevents delays, protects quality, and strengthens teamwork.

Life Outside of Work

When he’s not managing projects, Andrew is married to his wife Bella. Together, they enjoy competing in CrossFit competitions. They are also “dog parents” to Lou. You can also find him spending time on the golf course.

And while his childhood dream was to become a professional athlete, today he channels that same discipline and drive into every project he leads.

Pre-loss planning is not flashy or attention grabbing until you’re standing in the middle of a disaster and wondering what happened and what happens next. At Guarantee Restoration Services, it is one of the most important conversations we can have with our partners and clients, because preparation can mean the difference between complete chaos or a controlled situation. What Is Pre-Loss Planning? This service our team offers is exactly what it sounds like. It’s putting a plan in place before something goes wrong. Whether it’s a fire, a severe storm, or a flood, the first few hours matter more than anything. Decisions are made quickly, vendors are being called, and people are trying to figure out who is responsible for what and where. Without a proper plan in place, that moment is stressful, delayed, and more expensive than it needs to be. We have seen it firsthand, time and time again, those properties that have a solid pre-loss plan in place recover faster, experience less downtime, and have a much smoother path to normalcy. Properties that don’t have a plan are left to react instead of responding.
